The Gateway Café (formally known as Meeting Point) is now open, following an extensive refurbishment to provide a completely new modern look.

The Gateway Café was officially opened by the Mayor of Warwick, Peggy Bennett.

In her short speech she remarked that the place was ’buzzing’ and she congratulated us on the warm and friendly atmosphere in the café and said that this was what the town needed, a place where people can come and feel welcomed.

Peter thanked her and asked us all to raise our coffee cups to ‘The Gateway’.

Kim, Barry, Ann and Grace served the customers with many smiles and the whole occasion although ‘low key’ went off very well.
