Music at the Church
Music at Castle Hill aims to be a mix of traditional and more modern worship, led by a band each week.
The band each week comprises of up to 15 "regular" musicians who take it in turns on a rota basis.
Music practices normally take place on the Tuesday night prior to the Sunday morning.
There is the main "worship band" that comprises of 5 pianists plus up to 10 other instrumentalists - including the possibility of a full string quartet, woodwind, and "electric" band.
As well as this, there is a young peoples band for those not used to playing in a group and who are not quite up to playing from sight. There is also a choir that meets around Christmas and Easter.
The Sunday School have music provided by a regular pianist and are encouraged to learn new songs as well as singing the "old favourites".
